Apparently, the fees credit cards can charge for a transaction are to be capped at 0.20% in the European Union…
With plenty of credit cards in America offering cashback in the range of 1-3% with zero foreign transaction fees, there could be a serious arbitrage opportunity here, so long as there’s a way to charge the credit card whilst skirting being taxed on the transactions.
